Join us for an evening of Big Band Music, featuring The Gilbert Classical Academy Big Band under the direction of Noah Holtsclaw and the Chandler Gilbert Community College Little Big Band under the direction of Adam Roberts.

Formed in 2023, Gilbert Classical Academy's Apollo Combo is a funk-loving jazz group that started as a trio of sax, flute, and bass and has since grown into a six-piece band with trumpet, keys, and drums. Along the way, the group earned third place and Best Combo at the Arizona MusicFest and became a regular performance group around Gilbert, performing at events for the Gilbert Educational Foundation (GEF) and other fundraising events. The band has also performed at the Arizona State Capitol for Arizona Youth Arts Month. With a front line of flute, trumpet, and alto sax riding on a deep funk groove, Apollo Combo plays with energy that gets audiences moving.
