Gas prices dropped for the third week, with AAA Arizona reporting a 17-cent decrease to $4.40 per gallon at a Circle K on 59th Ave + Olive Road on June 12; state prices fell 14 cents to $4.46 per gallon.
Several freeway and road closures affect the East Valley this weekend. In Gilbert, Lindsay Road on Loop 202 is closed for a widening project from Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. (drivers can use Germann or Pecos roads as alternate routes).
