Gilbert police will join a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse (3961 S. Gilbert Road) on July 30 from 3 to 7 p.m.; the event will benefit Special Olympics.
Scott Glover resigned from the Higley Unified School District Governing Board on July 20, leaving nearly two years remaining in his term. The board will submit names within 30 days for the county superintendent to appoint a replacement who will serve until December 2027.
