On Dec. 30, 2025, a resident called park rangers after a bunny became trapped in a car fender, and Ranger Tim Galloway freed the animal at the Southeast Regional Library.
His careful rescue ensured the bunny remained unharmed.

Six San Tan Charter School alumni have returned as staff in roles including athletic & facilities director, community outreach coordinator, Montessori teacher, and maintenance technician.
They credit the school’s family environment with inspiring them to help create a nurturing setting for today’s students.

An entity linked to Diane Nelson purchased a 0.88-acre parcel in Morrison Ranch on Nov.
26 for $2.8 million from Barclay Group. Plans call for a 3,569 sqft Chase Bank building as part of a proposed shopping center anchored by Fry’s Marketplace, with a ground lease until Aug. 27, 2039.
