- ➤ A 34-year-old Chandler woman was arrested for stalking after sending anonymous threatening letters to a Gilbert home (the letters were received on March 10 and March 18) and she was charged with stalking, threatening or intimidating, and disorderly conduct (she was booked into the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office). - ➤ Gilbert Mayor Scott Anderson will deliver his first State of the Town address with video on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Water Town Plaza—attendees are asked to register, arrive early for live music from the Gilbert School of Rock, and enjoy free popcorn and a non-alcoholic beverage if they are among the first 250 guests. - ➤ Gilbert’s Police and Fire departments will host their second annual S.A.F.E. Public Safety Day next weekend for families with special needs and autistic children. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 29 at the Gilbert Public Safety Training Facility on S.
