Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams plans to open a new location at (2224 E.
Williams Field Road, suite 106 at SanTan Village) in Gilbert, though no opening date has been announced. The company makes ice cream from scratch using a recipe honed over more than 20 years by founder Jeni Britton (currently operating over 80 scoop shops nationwide).

Gilbert’s Office of Economic Development will host a series of free workshops and seminars for local businesses from May 12 to 16.
The events will be held at the Chamber of Commerce, the Catalyst Business Resource Center and at Kiln Gilbert—featuring sessions on entrepreneurship, AI innovation and small business support along with a Gilbert Shout Out campaign where residents can leave messages for their favorite business.
