Good morning, Gilbert.

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille will open a new restaurant in spring 2026 at the under-construction Northside at SanTan Village, south of the southwest corner of Ray and the Loop 202-Santan Freeway—its first location in Arizona.

The restaurant will seat up to 350 guests and offer an open kitchen, wine wall, bar with island seating, outdoor dining and four private dining rooms.

Flood Control updated the Adobe Dam/Desert Hills Area Drainage Master Plan to address the long history of flooding in the area—past storms have caused property damage, road closures and erosion.

The Arizona Department of Transportation announced that several Loop 101 ramps will close for about 60 days for a widening project.

In Gilbert, the westbound on-ramp at 35th Avenue closed May 13 — drivers should use detours via the on-ramps at 27th or 51st Avenue.
