- ➤ Chandler Unified School District staff will present four bond election options at its June 11 meeting after voters rejected a $487.5 million proposal last year—committee members favor lower borrowing amounts to fund school renovations and equipment. The board may call for a November election where a property tax override could add about $1.10 per $100 of assessed value. Gilbert Sun News
- ➤ Gilbert Public Schools is planning a new rule that bans cellphones for K–8 students and limits high school use to quick checks in the cafeteria—with a full ban for high school planned for the 2026–27 school year.
