- ➤ Gilbert police arrested 28-year-old Wyatt Bruce Ford for second-degree murder after he shot landscaper Manuel Vega Lopez, 51, four times on May 19 during a tree trimming job at a rental property near Higley and Germann roads—Ford is held on a $1 million bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 27.
