- ➤ The Gilbert Planning Commission approved a developer’s request to rezone 14.24 acres along Market Street for a mixed-use project that will include 357 apartments and ground-floor office space, despite town staff's concerns about reduced regional commercial use. The project must meet 24 conditions set by the Town Council before it moves forward (including parking, landscape, and infrastructure improvements). Gilbert Sun News
