- ➤ The Gilbert Farmers Market is moving from the Heritage District to the Chandler Gilbert Community College campus in October because it needs more space and parking—market operator Dan Koppenhofer said the new site will almost double vendor capacity with extra parking lots. Until the end of September, the market will keep its Saturday schedule from 7–11 a.m., and once at the new campus it will run from 8 a.m. to noon. Gilbert Sun News
