John Alderman on first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, and animal cruelty charges for shooting an SUV outside his motel near Country Club Drive and Guadalupe Road in Gilbert on Aug. 12—killing Jessica Brewer and injuring her dog while Rodney Brewer was unharmed—and his trial is set for April next year.
