- ➤ Gilbert is bracing for deeper cuts to its Colorado River water allocation after the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation released its 24-month study in August. Water Resources Manager Lauren Hixson said the study dictates next year's water deliveries & guides municipal planning. Gilbert Independent

- ➤ Gilbert residents are invited to review and comment on the CAPER report that shows how federal Community Development Block Grant funds helped repair 58 homes and improve the Heritage Center last year.
