Good morning, Gilbert.

Gilbert is gearing up for fall with the third annual Harvest in the Heritage District event running from Sept.

26 to Nov. 2—featuring artist activations and themed events for residents and visitors. The celebration will bring fresh autumn experiences to the downtown area.

Gilbert will host ¡Viva!

A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage on Friday, Sept. 26 at Water Tower Plaza from 6 to 8:30 p.m.—the free event by Felix Construction will offer Latin American cuisine, cultural performances by Ballet Folklorico Amistad and Mariachi Chapala AZ, vendor booths, and necessary safety measures including street closures.

Gilbert resident Rob Guderian and seven neighbors dispute Woodside Homes' plan to build 10 new homes near Stonebridge Lakes, claiming an old survey shows their walls are on their own land—town officials, developers, and residents are now working to agree on a code-compliant solution. The neighbors insist the developer pay for the expense of moving their shared walls and fixing landscaping issues.
