Here's your local news at a glance for Tuesday, the 29th of September.
Good morning, Gilbert.
🌲 Environment
Since mid-August, drainage at Freestone Park’s lakes left fish and duck carcasses behind, sparking resident complaints and odor issues.
Town officials say they are removing carcasses, testing water with Aquatic Consulting and Testing, and working with wildlife experts — managing risks as the renovation project continues.
🏥 Health
Gilbert resident Jorge de Cardenas (29) is using his GAMINGwithALS Twitch stream and a Scottsdale Walk ALS team to raise awareness and funds following his ALS diagnosis this year.
He hopes his efforts will bring the local community together to support those living with the disease.
