Good morning, Gilbert.

Dr. Purohit at HonorHealth OBGYN in Gilbert explains that lower hormone levels during menopause cause hair to thin and change in texture, and she advises that a balanced diet, gentle care, and treatments—like minoxidil and natural oils—can help keep hair fuller.

Women noticing these changes are encouraged to consult their provider for personalized care.

Gilbert paramedic Michaela and EMT Matthew were honored with the Life Saving Award by the Sons of the American Revolution for their quick response during a heart attack that hospital staff said saved a patient's life—Matthew has served nearly three years with Gilbert Fire and Rescue while Michaela has helped in Gilbert for four years. Their recognition highlights the commitment of first responders to save lives in critical moments.
