Good morning, Gilbert.

Gilbert Water Conservation is offering free water-efficient landscaping workshops this fall to help homeowners save water amid supply challenges.

The sessions — including a drip irrigation workshop on Oct.18 and a water management overview on Nov.8 — will be held at the South Area Service Center and Southeast Regional Library.

Gilbert families are advised by health experts as cooler temperatures and heavy park crowds raise mosquito concerns; they recommend wearing long sleeves and using insect repellent (no more than 30% DEET) during peak activity times to protect children from strong reactions.
