- ➤ Gilbert Days will celebrate the town’s Old West heritage with a rodeo from Nov.21 to Nov.23 at Queen Creek’s Horseshoe Park and a parade on Nov.22 in Downtown Gilbert that will close parts of Gilbert Road from Guadalupe to Hackamore from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The events, organized by the Gilbert Promotional Corporation and the Town of Gilbert, will feature cowboy competitions — including bull riding and team roping — and themed floats that invite families to enjoy a taste of local history. - ➤ Gilbert Days will run from November 21 to 23 with a festival at Gilbert Regional Park from 4 to 9 p.m., a parade along Gilbert Road starting at 8:30 a.m. on November 22, a rodeo at Horseshoe Park on November 21, 22, and 23, and races at Verde at Cooley Station on November 22 starting at 7 a.m.—tickets are $5 per day with children 12 and under free when registered and race proceeds will benefit the Shun the Sun Foundation.
