- ➤ Gilbert will hold the annual Gilbert Days Parade and Half Marathon, 10K and 5K on Nov. 22, with key roads closed from Guadalupe to Hackamore on Gilbert Road and intersections along Recker Road closed from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. The parade starts at 8:30 a.m. near Juniper Avenue and the half marathon begins at 7 a.m. at Verde at Cooley Station—residents should plan for detours—while bus routes may also experience delays. The deal used $3.09 million down and $7.3 million in new lending from the Bank of Arizona and was completed by Brian and Kimberly Torrey of Elite Roofing Supply—featuring a 2,512-square-foot office built in 1999 and two industrial buildings of 4,000 and 1,000 square feet built in 2011—known for their grade-level roll-up doors.
